Google's remarkably intuitive and extremely powerful 3 Dimensional Design and Modeling tool really has earned it's place in the Timberframe industry over the past number of years.We have been using Sketchup for the past 3 years to help clients view and interact with the design of their Timberframes. From simple Frame sections to entire 3D Home models , placed in their future setting, our Clients have the ability to see and interact with the process as it unfolds. We offer to all our Clients the knowlegde neccessary to keep pace with what happens behind the scenes in the creating of their Timberframe Dream Home or smaller scale Post and Beam Structure. We will provide you with the most current version of Google Sketchup and once committed to your project Oliver will sit down and personally guide you through it's use. The ability for the client to have this tool at their disposal has become a definite asset in designing the Timberframes they so desire.

Already Have a Home Design Professional ?

Flexibility. At SoulCraft we welcome the Homeowner's use of an Architect, Designer or Drafter of their choice. If needed, we can design or assist in designing a Timberframe to Compliment an existing Home Plan or work as a consultant with those unfamiliar with Designing a Timberframe Structure.

Engineering

All municipalities require that your Timberframe or Timberframe Home be Engineered by a Licenced Professional Engineer. We employ the services Licensed Professional Engineers depending on the scope of the project and the Engineering Review required. We provide the necessary documents for approval by your local Building Authority with every Timberframe. This will normally come in the form of an Engineering Letter or Stamped Drawings for Submission along with the Application for a Building Permit.

CAD Drafting

SoulCraft offers full CAD drafting services for the creation of your Building Code certified construction Blueprints. These Blueprints are then used for submission to your local Building Authority to acquire a Building permit and as the guideline for the pricing of your Timberframe or Timberframe Home. Should you choose another Drafting Professional to create these documents, we can easily assist in regards to the Timberframe itself. Take care in your selection of Design Professional, they should be fully experienced in Timberframe construction. Upon request we can offer referrals to other Design Professionals we have worked with in the past.
