Consultation & Preliminary Quote 

We encourage new clients to give us a call and arrange a visit to our shop. If you have a set of prepared drawings, sketches, magazine clippings or photo, bring those along with you. Generally an hour long visit and discussion will leave us with the information we need to prepare a Preliminary quote. Budgets are of real importance and from this stage we will be able to explore the possibilities in design / preferred wood species along with an introduction to Joinery options within the Timberframe. 

Contract 

SoulCraft will deliver to the client an initial contract for review which includes:

• A description of the scope of work to be performed by SoulCraft including site visit and communication and coordination with your General Contractor. 

• A description of the timberframe design & drafting process 

• Payment schedule 

• Shop completion and site delivery dates 

Upon approval of contract, a deposit will be made to SoulCraft to ensure booking.

Drafting & Design 

SoulCraft will review and revise a timberframe plan to meet the approval of the client and or General Contractor. Wood species selections will then be finalized. Upon approval the drawings will be submitted for approval to a Licensed Structural Engineer and after the drawings have been sealed the wood will be ordered and a delivery date to the shop set. 

Shop Work 

1. Material arrives and the fabrication begins 

2. Client shop visits are highly encouraged during this time 

3. Finished timbers are prepared for delivery 

Delivery & Raising 

The completed timberframe package will arrive at your building location along with a prescheduled crane and/or supplementary hoisting equipment as is necessary.
